Hey everyone...greetings. new to the forum. Ive got a high powered heavy bracket car with a 29x11 Goodyear's and I'm having traction issues. The car plants the tires the spins. Its a 78 Coupe Deville, 540 inch bbchevy on methanol, 14 to 1 comp. 1150 dominator, Power glide with 1.80 first gear, 3.70 gear, 4000 stall 10" converter and as i stated above...29x11 slicks. Car has gone 9.85 @ 135 with 1.38 60ft times with a T400 and 10.0's and 1.48 60fts with the glide launching off the brake @ 3500rpm. The suspension consists of stock front arms w/ 3 way adjustable shocks and poly bushings. Rear consists of BMR adjustable upper arms with hymes on the frame side. Lowers are non adjustable with solid bushings and sleeves and a HR Parts N Stuff anti roll bar. Rear shocks are double adjustable QA1's and rebound is set loose with compression on the tighter side. The car is lowered front and rear. I'm loosing my mind trying to fix the traction issues, i went to a glide to calm the torque down and it seems worse especially in the sun when the track gets greasy. I was hoping not to tub the car. Any one know how to make a small tire/long wheelbase car work??? If u need any more info I'll gladly provide more. Any help would really be appreciated
Shawn
